Amritasa Green is the cleantech venture of the Amritasa Group. Since 2016, our electronic-pulse technology has extended and revived lead-acid batteries across India — cutting cost and downtime while deferring toxic lead waste.
A lead-acid battery thrown away early is money lost and lead leached into the earth. Our micro-controlled pulse devices dissolve the sulphation that kills batteries — roughly doubling their service life, reviving cells already written off, and deferring one to two replacements per battery. Less cost. Less downtime. Less toxic waste. Designed and manufactured in India, deployed with national institutions, and built for the world.
The people behind the technology have led banks, turned around companies, and built manufacturing from the ground up — across three continents.
A banker and turnaround specialist turned entrepreneur, with a career spanning nearly four decades. He rose through the top-management ranks of the State Bank of India over 25 years, served as Executive Vice President at Kotak Mahindra Bank, and led Caparo Group's India operations as MD & CEO — diversifying it into financial services, green energy and e-mobility. He co-founded Amritasa Group in 2016 and was part of the C-suite driving Jet Airways' revival under the IBC.
An engineer who blends technical depth with commercial instinct, with 25+ years in automotive and new-tech manufacturing. At Hindustan Motors he helped bring Subaru to India and drove 72% indigenization on the HM-Mitsubishi Lancer in just 36 months. At Caparo he led quality, greenfield projects and vendor development, then spearheaded the group's move into EVs, composite housing, solar and waste management — commercializing them in under a year. He co-founded Amritasa Group in 2016.
35+ years across automotive marketing, service, production and EV manufacturing — with leadership roles at Greaves, Mahindra, Mitsubishi, Escorts and TAFE, and a former CEO & Director within the Greaves Group.
20+ years in PCB, linear & digital design and micro-controller programming. Mentored by veterans of the National Physical Laboratory, he leads our R&D team of seven — and the pulse technology at the heart of every product.
